Last week was a very nice one for my fantasy surprises as Kevin Smith and Pierre Garcon both had very big days. Jake Locker was also fairly productive before leaving the game with an injury. After week one, many fantasy owners go into panic mode thinking their team is done for or that their top draft pick won’t live up to the billing. This is where smart owners can buy low and get a proven player cheap instead of relying on the waiver wire.

QB: Andrew Luck vs Vikings: Luck had a tough task in his rookie debut going up against the Bears defense on the road. He should fare much better in this one going up against a Vikings pass defense that had trouble against the Jaguars last week.
