Washington Redskins: Blame the ‘Skins for the Loss, not the Refs

Cowboys Vs. Redskins

The Washington Redskins have a sour taste in their mouth after losing to the Rams in St. Louis 31-28. They looked like they had a chance to tie the game until a costly Josh Morgan penalty.

With just a minute left on the clock, RGIII completed a third-down pass to Morgan that brought the ball up to the 46-yard line. That was until Morgan, upset by the way the defender shoved him after the play was over, threw the ball at Rams CB Courtland Finnegan and drew a flag. The 15-yard penalty pulled the Redskins out of field goal range.

Fans poured into twitter and Facebook about the penalty among other calls, saying the refs cost the Skins the game. But in reality, if Morgan doesn’t throw that ball, the Skins have a shot at winning.
